On our first night, Casey & I went to Hillsong Church – the city campus! If you have known me for a while, you know that this is something I have wanted to do for so long! I think we were beaming right when we walked in, because a few different people picked us out of the crowd in the atrium area and talked with us. One of the ladies was a pastor, and the other was a student at the college. She asked us to sit with her – she had 4 seats saved on the 2nd row. God is so good! The worship and the message were incredible!
The place we are staying is SO sweet! They put mints on our pillows with little poems about sleep. It’s basically one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.
That was the end of Day 1…for day 2 (July 4th), we decided we were going to be all out tourists! Casey had her Old Navy American Flag shirt on, while I was representing the Texas Rangers. We even wore our cameras around our necks for some of the day.
We walked around a fancy little market with all sorts of handmade crafts.
We discovered a great alley way & stopped to have a mini photoshoot. This was so fun to get to play with different settings on my camera & experiment with angles and lighting.
The cutest moped.
After the market, we went to the Sydney Harbor Bridge and walked across. I still can’t believe how incredible the view is here.
We did some fun pictures while walking across the bridge too! Have I mentioned that I LOVE my new camera? Ahh, it makes it so fun to be creative with pictures.
The perfect walking shoes.
Fish & chips
Red telephone booth? yes please.
Then we went to Bondi Beach! We rode the bus there and a precious little 4 year old Korean boy sat across from us and sang to us. Safe to say he was one of the sweetest things ever.
We got to the beach at about 4:15 in the afternoon, and it gets dark here by like 5:30 – crazy! But that gave us time to take fun pictures with the gorgeous sunset!
Hello Pacific Ocean!
What a fun day!
