A Texas Twang.

I can’t believe there is only one more day left of conference. It’s been so encouraging/challenging/draining/anointed – and so many more adjectives. I’m trying to digest it all and really soak in everything. For now – here are more pictures from today (Thursday).

Israel Houghton led worship again this morning

Pastor Brian Houston

Christine Caine. This is one anointed woman. Her passion for the enslaved & the lost is so inspiring.

Phil Dooley – love his sense of humor.

In the last of today’s day sessions was Nancy Beach. Her message she presented us was exactly what I needed to hear. So thankful for this sweet woman and for her ministry in the arts that she is so passionate about.

I love this picture…we were laughing because Casey & both had on shirts that were for really great organizations – shedances & mochaclub…and we also had on our TOMS.

Of course – another incredible night of worship.

Bishop TD Jakes spoke tonight.

One of the MANY things I love about here is how friendly everyone is. Casey and I were on the train headed to the conference and a lady overheard us talking (she heard our accents) and she asked where we were from. This led to an entire conversation about us being from Texas and traveling across the world to go to the Hillsong Conference. She was right down the road from Hillsong and had never checked it out. We told her the night sessions at the conference were open to the public for free and that she should come that night. She said she was going to come and bring her sons. I’d love to sit here and tell you that she came, sat right beside us, and came to know the Lord…but that I don’t know. What I do know is that God is sovereign & faithful. If it took 2 Texas girls to invite this woman to church – so be it! This woman is just one of the several conversations that we’ve had with people about church. I never knew that having a Texas twang could lead to some of the conversations we’ve had.

Until next time,
