In One Word or Phrase: THANKFUL.
Dreaming of: Doing backflips on a trampoline.
Song on Repeat: I Will Go – Dara Joy. (Find it on the “Hello-Somebody” album HERE.) It’s a great organization that’s mission is “feed the hungry around the globe.” Go check out their website to see the great things they’ve got going on!
Gotta Write it Down: “When God’s grace is working on us and in us, it will also work itself out through us. The internal renewal of our minds & hearts creates an external propulsion that moves us out in love & service to others.” This is something we went over at the Campus Crusade for Christ meeting and I starred, underlined, and wrote it in my journal. The work of Jesus in our hearts is to be evident in our lives.
Lesson Learned: Texas weather is a funny thing. I have been in my Northface jacket, sweatpants, & rainboots on one day…and the next I’m in shorts and a t-shirt.
Highlight of the Week: FRIENDS & Worship. I’ve been so encouraged this week in the time I’ve got to spend with my friends. Doing life together y’all, it’s wonderful.
Glance at the Week Ahead: Online Anthropology Test, Speech about Reconstruction of Haiti (presenting Tuesday), meetings at work, coffee at Zera’s (a favorite coffee place in Denton) with Joy, dinner with some HomeGroup girls, day-of-fun on Saturday. Sounds like a wonderful week to me!
Memorizing: Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11
